Jumping green greens

The market's kicking it up a notch. More fresh produce is hitting the stands.

It's strawberry season. If you thinking of making anything with strawberries or rhubarb, this is the week to do it! Lot's of strawberry and rhubarb at the market this week.

And what else do we have?

Fresh peas, fresh herbs: baby dill, oregano, lemon balm, mints, chard, spinach, wild spinach, amaranth, garlic chives, chives, radishes, spring onions, lettuce - lots of varieties.

Local honey & maple syrup, handwoven rugs, hats, garden art, folk art, baby britches bags, satchels, totes, candles, jewelry, tie-dyed and batik items, cool city coolers, quality artisan wares, hand painted wares, bakery, an outdoor cafe, egg rolls.

This is the place to be on Saturday from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m., or Wednesday from 2 p.m. - dusk. We love our market - it's no longer a little market, it's one of the largest in the state!
